10th October – Empshott Green
A classic wedding in a beautiful marquee in the garden, 180 people gathered for some great canapés including little salmon fishcakes with watercress aioli and Asian crispy duck and mango whilst enjoying ice cold champagne.
Scattered around the canapés reception were some rustic Anti pasti platters with baskets of our homemade focacia. Whilst the guests were enjoying the gorgeous canapes and smorgesboards, we behind the grand reveal were busy lighting the 950 candles on the tables, it simply looked amazing! Dusk was fast approaching and the 950 flickering candles looked absolutely stunning on the four long decadent tables!
Once at the tables the guests enjoyed steak, shallot and stilton pie topped with a mustard crust served with buttery mash and green beans. For dessert a delicious lemon tart and an amazing cheese board. The evening finished with dancing and cocktails until the early hours, it really was a great night.
We received a lovely letter from the mother of the bride.
“I want to thank you and your team for their magnificent contribution, the compliments have been flooding in. Tory’s infectious enthusiasm sealed the bid, her attention to detail and confidence helped make all the planning easier. Your staff, without exception were delightful, cheerful, smiling, polite, immaculately dressed and most professional in a relaxed and pleasant manner. The food was delicious. The canapés a definite triumph, the anti pasti platters much remarked upon. The yummy beef pies were piping hot and the lemon tart the prefect ending.”
